Should you, as an author, join Google+ and invest time in yet another social network? I highly recommend it! With Google delivering Google Plus profiles and pages in highly visible areas of a users search results, the networking you do within Google+ “circles” will lead to reach new readers or re-engage previous customers.
Do not only create a profile; you need to build your Google+ network, communicate with customers, create quality content, and be active. Google is rewarding those who do, because it’s going to bring more users onto your pages.
Google rolled out a new feature, the “Google Plus Your World” search results, giving users personalized results most-likely based on their Google+ profile interests, search history, common friends, and their “+1′s”.
Hopefully you have an established Google Plus account when your potential customers are searching. Take for sample my blog https://savvybookwriters.wordpress.com
Since I joined Google+ it went from 15 visitors a day to 178 and growing – within just under three weeks.
