Where to Announce Your Book – For FREE

10 Feb

Thanks to the Internet it is very easy to announce your new book everywhere. Beside social media sites on which you are already participating (Twitter, Google+, Chime.in, Facebook, LinkedIn or Pinterest),  announce your book launch on these websites (for free) as well:

http://www.ebooksjustpublished.com
From their website:
“The challenge for authors today is not how to get published – it’s how to get noticed. This site connects independent authors with a large reader basethat’s growing every day. If you’re publishing your work in ebook format and it’s DRM-free, you can announce it on this site.  Reasons why authors should announce their e-book:

  1. Reach a large reader base for free.
  2. Include links to your own website, favourable reviews, print version on Amazon, etc.
  3. Simple submission process. If it’s a preannouncement, include the Pre-release Category
  4. Quick turnaround – announcements usually appear within 24 hours.
  5. Did we mention it’s free!

Readers can sign up for weekly email newsletter with a list of new ebook releases or subscribe to an RSS feed. Readers can choose between the main feed to receive all announcements or just the genres they are interested in. Or they can follow on Twitter.”

From their website:
“Want a way to promote your books without spending a penny on marketing? Google Books allows publishers and authors to submit their books for inclusion in Google’s search results. Whether you’re a large publisher with thousands of titles or a small press that publishes just a few titles, participating in Google Books can:

  • increase awareness of your book at no cost
  • reach Google’s worldwide user base
  • refer qualified traffic to your website

Once you send Google your titles (or upload them as PDF files), we’ll add them to our index for free. By matching the content in your books with user searches, Google Books connects your books with the users who are most interested in buying them.  Each Google Books result will display the book’s title and author, a short excerpt containing the highlighted search terms, and other public data about the book.”
