EBooks sales to triple to $9.3 billion by 2016
Juniper Research released a new report Thursday, “Mobile Publishing: eBooks, eMagazines & eNewspapers for Smart Devices,” estimating that eBook sales would hit $9.3 billion in 2016 as compared to this year’s $3.2 billion. And it is just 7 months since digital books overtook the amount of physical books at Amazon.
Amazon adds 38,000 Spanish and Italian language eBook titles, coinciding with study reporting eBooks’ popularity Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos demonstrated the trend of eBook sales on one slide during his presentation of the new Kindle Fire.
